Landlords:

Are you following all proper procedures regarding security deposits, last month's rent, and rent collection? Are you owed money from tenants? Do you have tenants that are damaging your property? Are you aware of your rights and your responsibilities as a landlord? I can make sure that you are following all required procedures for security deposits, notices to quit, and filing complaints with the housing court.

Tenants:

Are you living in substandard conditions? Do you need a lease reviewed before you sign it? Were you given all proper documentation regarding your security deposit? Is there lead paint in your home?

Evictions:

I have represented both landlords and tenants in front of the Housing Court, and have appeared in hundreds of eviction actions. In my representation of both residential and commercial landlords and tenants, I have successfully brought and defended eviction cases for the last several years.

Leases:

Many landlords and tenants do not even have a written lease or tenancy-at-will agreement to memorialize the terms of the tenancy. Depending on the terms and the specific situation, I can draft a tenancy agreement or lease to protect your interests.
