What is it?

I created the Scholarship to honor the life & legacy of my grandfather Albert Iamelli. To me, he was always "Papa".  To my grandmother (I called her Nanny) and to his friends, he was Al. Al was a football referee and baseball umpire for high school sports all over New England. He was head referee for most football games, and was very proud of that designation, which was signified by the white hat he wore in games. He used to tell my grandmother that on the field "I wear the White Hat" but she was quick to remind him that she wore the white hat at home! Al was president of both New England Football Officials and Baseball Officials. To honor him, we are funding four scholarships, There will be Four scholarships, each to a student-athlete, of $500 each.
