Here's an article about the consequences of not telling the truth on a Medicaid Application.

You might think about fudging the truth a bit, to get the application to go through. If you do that, Medicaid has the right to sue you for Unjust Enrichment - in other words, receiving a benefit you weren't entitled to.

An Oregon appeals court holds that an adult foster care facility could claim unjust enrichment against the estate of a former resident who obtained Medicaid benefits due to her son's fraud, resulting in the facility being paid less than it would have at its private pay rate. Larisa's Home Care, LLC v.
