You might think about fudging the truth a bit, to get the application to go through. If you do that, Medicaid has the right to sue you for Unjust Enrichment - in other words, receiving a benefit you weren't entitled to.

An Oregon appeals court holds that an adult foster care facility could claim unjust enrichment against the estate of a former resident who obtained Medicaid benefits due to her son's fraud, resulting in the facility being paid less than it would have at its private pay rate.
