It's been an exciting and prosperous year for Monteforte Law in 2022.
We are thrilled to share some of the good things that happened last year.
First, we are proud to announce that we have doubled our staff size by adding four new team members, including two new attorneys, Cynthia and Bridgette! This has allowed us to serve even more clients and provide even better service to our existing clients. Having more attorneys that are specialized in estate and elder planning allows us to improve our entire process.
We have also been very active in the community, holding 6 seminars to educate the public about estate planning and long-term care planning. These seminars have been well-attended and have generated a lot of interest in our services, with many of the attendees turning into clients. We will continue to hold at least one seminar per month in 2023, with a variety of interesting topics, so keep a lookout for them.
Our newsletter continues to make our clients happy! The newsletter is mostly about family and our amazing team. Very rarely is it about the law – we prefer to focus on our team, our families, and our community outreach. Our clients agree that our newsletter is awesome, and it’s free, so if you want to start receiving it, sign up here.
One of our main areas of expertise is helping people obtain the long-term care benefits that they are entitled to and that they deserve. It is an uphill battle all the way. We are pleased to report that we had 17 MassHealth applications approved this year, maintaining our 100% success rate. Those applications generated over one million dollars in long-term care benefits for our clients in 2022.
We are also excited to announce that we added 151 new clients to our firm this year. It's always a pleasure to work with new families and help them plan for the future.
Our former Chief Marketing Officer, Nicole Rego, was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer and runs as second-in-command at the Firm.
We have also revised our client longevity plan, which is now called the Legacy Protection Plan. The new plan has many new features and benefits for our clients, by making sure their estate plans are always up to date and never go stale. As your life changes, your plan has to change with you. Our Legacy Protection Plan is the best way to do that. It is designed to protect our clients and their families assets and ensure their legacy lives on.
In terms of financial impact for our clients, along with the over $1 Million dollars in long-term care benefits we obtained for them, we also saved our clients millions of dollars in estate taxes. These are truly significant numbers and we are honored to have been able to make such a positive impact on our clients' lives.
In conclusion, it's been an amazing year for our law firm and we are looking forward to continuing to serve our clients and community in the coming year. We are grateful for the trust our clients have placed in us and we will continue to work hard to provide them with the best service possible.
Our firm is dedicated to having a great 2023, not only professionally but also personally.
